FAQ

How does CACBC guarantee audiences?
CACBC has a trusted network of promoters in China to ensure that participants in our programs receive the best possible travel services; their job is to use varies methods to advertise to the music lovers in China to promote your event, whether it is in a performance hall, festivals, or joint performances in a local school. We will make sure your wish of sharing your wonderful music with the Chinese people comes true.

Does CACBC custom-design each tour?
Yes! We custom-design each tour from the ground up to meet the group leader’s goals and the needs of his/her group. That includes the desired number of performances, types of venues to be used, destinations to be visited and options for sightseeing. All of those items are taken into consideration in creating the ideal tour program for each group. Preference on travel dates and group size will also be discussed, as well as an appropriate budget for the tour.

Who will assist the performance needs of my group while touring in China?

CACBC will assign you a tour manager for your trip; he or she is experienced in taking American performance groups to China, is bilingual in both Chinese and English, and has a background in music performance. Your tour manager will assist you in your performance needs, including translation and offering advice, to ensure a successful performance in China. Aside from your tour manager, your local guides and national guide will also be available, ready to translate whenever you need assistance.

What experience does CACBC have in designing and operating tours for performing groups?

We have been designing and operating tours to China for performing groups since the company was established in 1992. In the first years of our operation, we concentrated on taking band, orchestra and choirs to China. As we became known for our ability to bring together all of the complex details of travel for performing groups, our market expanded to non-performance tours for educators, retired educators, and martial art interested participants. Today, we have clients throughout the U.S. who rely on us to develop great itineraries, provide guidance in selecting repertoire, ship and rent instruments, locate performance venues, and promote concerts.

What is included in a CACBC quotation?

Typically, our quotations include:

  • Round trip airfare to China from a major international airport within the 50 states of USA
  • Air transportation to pick up and drop off at the airport
  • Land transportation via deluxe, air-conditioned motor coach
  • Hotel accommodations (double occupancy)
  • All meals in China include: American or Chinese breakfast, Chinese lunch and dinner
  • The services of one English speaking Chinese local guide per bus
  • The services of one bilingual tour manager per group
  • All concert arrangements
  • All entrance fees for museums, parks and historical sites
  • Instrument shipping that are not through cargo
  • Legal performance permission in China and translations
  • Special show or/and dinner

How does CACBC handle the transport and rental of instruments?

For performance groups bringing instruments, we design itineraries and select fly routes to minimize the number of connecting flights. The size of the instrument is handled differently; smaller instruments can be carried with the owner as a carry on luggage, while bigger instruments can be stored underneath the same airplane as its owners. For certain larger instruments it might be more cost effective to rent them in China, and in that case, an early notice is needed to check whether your required instruments are available. .
